October 7 - 10 2008

Security, the No 1 International Trade Show for Security and Fire Prevention will again take place October 7 - 10, 2008 in Essen, Germany. At the last show in 2006, a record number of visitors and exhibitors attended the show. Over 1,000 exhibitors from 48 countries showed their latest innovations and most developed products to more than 40,000 trade buyers. 42% of the exhibitors were from abroad and approximately one third of the visitors were from outside Germany. At this date, all expectations have been exceeded with an almost entirely sold out show.

Security 2008 will prove to be the meeting point for the decision makers  and experts from the industry. 98% of all visitors in 2006 were security specialists - whether from the industrial field, security service providers, authorities, police and fire services, factory security forces, commerce skilled trade as well as from the insurance sector.

In particular demand nowadays is video surveillance technology as well as biometrics and access control. The Security Congress included over 243 lectures by experts speaking on various topics within the security field. As an exhibitor you too can take part in this congress. The exhibitor's forum located in hall 4 is free of charge and open to all exhibitors and visitors.
