WOP, the World of Perishables MIddle East, is the sister event to IPM Dubai. The premiere will take place March 3-5 in Dubai, and is the first dedicated event for fresh produce in Dubai. Exhibitors to WOP will offer solutions to exporters, importers, wholesalers and retailers of fresh produce. WOP promises to be the marketplace for the increasing trade and demand of technology, packaging and logistics to handle perishables.

Dubai is uniquely situated to connect the international perishable trade. The UAE imports 90% of its food requirements and re-exports 60-70% of its agricultural imports to its Gulf Region neighbors, Africa, India and the CIS. Demand for fresh food is increasing and studies show that customers are willing to pay more for fresh food.

Taking place concurrently with IPM Dubai allows WOP to take advantage of the synergies that IPM provides. More than 300 exhibitors and 3000 visitors are expected at IPM Dubai, so that WOP can benefit from the overflow.
